Let’s talk about climate change! The Green Plays Project is an outdoor theatre event featuring 5 one act plays and a post-show community discussion with the aim to inspire our community to take healthy steps towards a more sustainable future.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York State Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • Please bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets.

  • This event is recommended for adults and older children/teens.

  • COVID SAFETY: This is an OUTDOOR event, but we still ask that each party sit 6ft apart from their neighbor. Feel more comfortable in a mask? Wear one! Feeling ill on the day of the performance? Please do not come. We will refund you your donation.

  • BONUS! A theatre making workshop for kids will take place at 3pm before the show. Perfect for social emotional learning, this class requires students to collaborate and connect on the issue of climate change. Recommended for ages 6 and older. Reservations are required.
