2021 Annual Meeting: Board Election Results

 Thank you to all of our members who attended Sunday’s annual meeting, and to everyone who participated in the board election. We are pleased to announce the election results as follows:

Welcome to the four new members elected to our board:

Sarah Armour, Jennifer McMillan, Dan Riesel and Larry Rothbart.

And congratulations to the five board members re-elected for another (three year) term on the board:

Mitzi Elkes, Allen Gutkin, Samantha Hicks, Arthur Jones and Donna Stein.

Additionally, the two proposed amendments to the bylaws were accepted. During the organizational meeting of the “new” board, the following offices and committee seats were filled by vote of the directors: 

  • Steve Stanne – President

  • Janine Napierkowski – Vice-president

  • Rosemary Thomas – Secretary

  • Neil Gordon – Treasurer

$6,500 Board Match Met! 

I’m happy to report that Clearwater members rose to the Annual Meeting board match challenge. Between 6 PM Friday, 10/1, and 11:59 PM Sunday, 10/3, you, our members, contributed $6,519.75! Just over $13,000 will come in to Clearwater as a result of this initiative. Thank you for your generous support!

We also announced the schedule for our 2021-2022 meetings. All will be held virtually on Zoom, pending any ebb in the pandemic.
