    In this one-time-only benefit concert at the renowned Towne Crier in Beacon, NY (Pete’s hometown), Miles and Trischka will share their music and their stories of personal encounters with Pete Seeger. You can expect some of the best banjo music on planet earth, along with stories about Pete, including some of his testimony before the House Un-American Activities Committee. The story of Pete Seeger demonstrates over and over his passion for social justice and planet earth. And Pete’s tool of choice for delivering his message was the banjo.

While the Hudson River Music Festival is not directly affiliated with Clearwater or The Great Hudson River Revival (Clearwater Festival), its organizers are committed to continuing Pete and Toshi Seeger’s vision of gathering in community with music on the banks of the Hudson River.
