Clearwater joined a terrific coalition of over 20 organizations today to educate New York State legislators and their staff about a wide range of environmental issues. Everyone from Buffalo to Long Island were represented! Our coalition had over 60 meetings to discuss these pertinent issues. We were particularly excited to talk about wetlands protections, issues with lead in school drinking water, and emerging contaminants in small towns like so many in the Hudson Valley. Thank you to all the Clearwater members for participating!
