Clearwater has served as an active member of the Mid-Hudson Regional Sustainability Energy Working Group, formed as part of the Cleaner, Greener Communities program, with funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).  The Energy Working Group, comprised of energy experts and industry members, municipal officials, businesses, environmental organizations and academia, has created a very comprehensive baseline of information to guide the transition to a Green Energy Economy.  This work – along with ways to implement the plan’s goals and recommendations – will be presented at this important energy summit in Newburgh, NY on November 20.
