  • Storm King Decision Earthwork and Garden Opening Reception

    Sands Ring Homestead Museum 180 Main Street, Cornwall, NY, United States

    Storm King decision is a multi-phase public art project celebrating stewardship and the birth of the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Resources Defense Council. Inspired by the 1965 Scenic Hudson Decision, this project honors the landmark legal case that established the right of citizens to challenge development on environmental grounds, ultimately protecting Storm King Mountain, Black Rock Forest, and the Hudson River.

  • Beacon Sloop Club’s 2026 Alan Thomas Memorial Environmental Lecture Series: You Have Lost America by the Irish: A Musical History Lesson

    Join the Beacon Sloop Club for: You Have Lost America by the Irish: A Musical History Lesson. Could the American Revolution Have Been Won without their (Irish and Irish-American) participation? Come and Find Out! Bill Devlin will explain the history via a Powerpoint presentation, with songs and music from the period presented by the musicians of the Andy McGann branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Éireann. Learn about the brave Irish and Irish-Americans who fought for our country's freedom!

  • June 30 Community Tideline Program

    This summer, Clearwater is excited to be hosting half-day Community Tideline Programs for parent/child pairs to explore the Hudson River together. This half-day program will run from 9:30am-1:30pm on Tuesday, June 30 at Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow with a cost of $15 per adult-child pair. Ideal for children 7+, though all ages are welcome.

  • SOLD OUT: July 3 Sail250 Parade of Class B Tall Ships in the East River

    Clearwater is participating in the Sail4th 250 Parade of Sail: Class B Tall Ships on Friday, July 3, showcasing mid-sized traditionally-rigged boats. The parade will occur in the East River and sail toward New York Harbor beginning at 1pm. Clearwater will be taking 25 passengers for the parade, boarding at PortSide NewYork in Atlantic Basin in Red Hook, Brooklyn, transiting up to the starting line, and disembarking passengers at PortSide NewYork.

  • SOLD OUT: July 4 Sail250 Parade of Sail in NYNJ Harbor

    Clearwater is participating in the Sail4th 250 Parade of Tall Ships, which brings together tall ships from the US and around the world on Saturday, July 4. The parade will begin at the Verazzo Bridge at 9:30am on July 4 and sail to the George Washington Bridge, and Clearwater will act as an escort to Esmeralda, a tall ship of the Chilean Navy. Clearwater will be taking 25 passengers for the parade, boarding at PortSide NewYork in Atlantic Basin in Red Hook, Brooklyn, and disembarking at the 79th Street Boat Basin.
