We are saddened to share news of the passing of Alan Thomas, a long-time Clearwater and Beacon Sloop Club Member. Alan was deeply dedicated to the Hudson River and Clearwater community, an ever-present and willing volunteer, always happy to jump in at a moment’s notice to support events, administrative projects, and share his perspectives and insight. His generous spirit, leadership, and quiet kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him, and his contributions to Clearwater, the Beacon Sloop Club, and the Hudson River will be felt for generations to come.
