Hudson River Sailing Lecture + Book Talk

Join the Beacon Sloop Club on September 17 for a lecture from sloop Woody Guthrie Captains, Steve Schwartz and James Malchow. Released on August 4 by Arcadia Publishing, Hudson River Sailing is part of the popular Images of America book series.
The book includes more than 200 images that trace more than four centuries of Hudson River sailing history. The talk will cover the process of compiling and writing the book, noteworthy stories, and selected historic photos that were both included and left out from the final printing.
100% of author royalties will support the Beacon Sloop Club and the Hudson River Ice Yacht Preservation Trust, with hardcovers available for $35 and paperbacks for $25. Pick up a book for the Hudson River enthusiast in your life and even better yet, have Captain James and Steve sign it!
