February Open Boat

Join Hudson River Sloop Clearwater for our February 2026 Open Boat! Spend the afternoon in community with live music, kids activities, tours of the Clearwater’s winter restoration projects, and bring a dish to pass for the potluck lunch.

For our February Open Boat we will be joined by:

• Musician Lisa Pellegrino will be playing blusey folk rock. Lisa is the bandleader of Soil & Soul, playing covers and originals of bluesy folk rock & all the jazz in the name of building Beloved Community, and promoting the rockstarification of farmers, growers, makers, bakers, brewers, and doers.
• Emmett Goodman-Boyd, storyteller, former crewmember and well-known goofball for an interactive storytime at 1:15pm. Perfect for kids of all ages.
• Faith from Faithfully Yours Atelier specializes in sustainable fashion – reducing waste one upcycle at a time and will be hosting a mending table. please bring an item that is in need of light mending and Faith will guide you through a repair. Materials provided and donations accepted. Remember, the most environmentally friendly clothes are the ones we already have!
• Livingston Street Early Childhood Community will be is an outdoor, nature-based care program for children ages 3-5, located just up the hill from the Rondout Creek and will be hosting a kids activity table.
