With four albums under her belt—including a debut featured on film and television soundtracks—Jenna’s latest album\, The Commuter\, produced by three-time Grammy winner Larry Campbell\, delivers vintage Americana with a fresh\, cinematic feel. With Campbell’s masterful touch and Jenna’s unmistakable voice at the helm\, the record is a modern classic—a love letter to American music in all its dusty\, dreamy glory. \nAfter college\, Jenna\, hailing from the small town of Irwin\, PA\, near Pittsburgh\, set her sights east to test her wings as a songwriter and performer. Initially trying Boston\, she ultimately gravitated to the creative hotbed of Manhattan’s Lower East Side\, forging lasting friendships with other like-minded artists and musicians. Her early albums revealed a restless muse and a theme that would be a constant for Nicholls: a love of vintage music – anything from classic music films like “Singin’ in the Rain” to Bessie Smith.  \nA winner of multiple songwriter competitions\, Jenna has toured with Ingrid Michaelson\, Glen Hansard\, Lucius\, and Joan as Policewoman\, performing at iconic venues including the Beacon Theater and Carnegie Hall. With every note\, Jenna Nicholls invites you into a world where old souls speak\, hearts break\, and stories live on in song.

SUMMARY:Clearwater's 3rd Annual Folk Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Join Hudson River Sloop Clearwater for our third annual Folk Picnic on Saturday\, August 22\, 2026! We look forward to sharing a day of music\, community\, and activism. \nClearwater’s Annual Folk Picnic is a return to our musical roots. In the 1960s\, when Pete and Toshi Seeger and their co-founders set out to build Clearwater\, they organized community folk picnic fundraisers using music as a tool to unite people behind a shared goal of restoring and protecting the Hudson River. Nearly 60 years later\, Clearwater is carrying our musical heritage forward with a free\, community-centered day of music\, celebration\, family activities\, and Hudson River advocacy.
