The Hudson River Sloop Singers, a musical arm of The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, were the backbone of Clearwater musical offerings during the seventies and eighties. This CD captures the sound and feel of the heyday of the group. In addition to remastering the vinyl release "Broad Old River," the original Beach Stage recording of the set in Croton Point Park that June night in 1986 has yielded five additional special songs that did not appear on the original vinyl. Lyrics will be available soon!

The Walkabout Clearwater Chorus was founded by Pete Seeger to bring the message of the Clearwater where the big boat couldn’t go. They perform once or twice a month at festivals, rallies, and concerts throughout the tri-state area and beyond. Their repertory covers a wide range of folk songs, many written or adapted by their members, with themes of environmental conservation, peace, racial harmony and social justice, not to mention a few old sea chanteys. The Walkabout Clearwater Chorus is generously donating the revenue generated by selling ‘We Have a Song’ through the Clearwater catalog to us. CD $15
