Volunteer Welcome Page
For people who buy tickets to come to the festival the Clearwater Hudson
River Festival is a wonderful music and environmental event. But for the
volunteers, it is so much more! By volunteering, you become part of the
warm and lively community and connect with the Clearwater Festival in a
special way, to share and celebrate its work for the river. Being a part
of creating it enhances enjoyment of the festival experience. We invite
you to be one of 800 volunteers!
Whether you are a new or returning volunteer, we hope you will find all
the info here that you need. Please read all the pages before you go to
the Volunteer Application. Feel free to contact the volunteer
coordinator if you have any questions or concerns.

Volunteer Donation Fee
Clearwater membership is required to be eligible to volunteer.
Clearwater is its members. So we ask festival volunteers to support
Clearwater’s environmental work in this way. In addition, we ask you to
pay $30 (Early Bird Discount: $25.00 before May 21) to cover some of the expenses associated with the care and
feeding of our volunteers. The total of these two fees could be as
little as $45 depending on membership donation.
Entrance to the festival alone is worth this much or more, and in
addition you get meals, snacks, camping, parties, and a T-shirt.
Some festival volunteers contribute to a fund to subsidize people who
can’t afford the $30 fee. If your financial situation is limited please
ask for part or your entire volunteer donation to be subsidized.
