Vendors & Exhibitors Clearwater Festival - Great Hudson River Revival

Festival exhibitors and vendors are a central part of the Clearwater Great Hudson River Revival. Comfortably situated around the festival grounds are the Juried Craft Tent and artisan village of 50 regional crafters, artisans and demonstrations in “the joy of doing”. At the other end of the festival by the working waterfront find a Marketplace of over 20 vendors with imported fair trade products, handmade goods, natural health products and music. Clustered around a grove of tall shade trees is a Food Court of natural and international foods. The Activist Area brings together 40 community and non-profit organizations sharing ideas on the environment and social justice issues. The Green Living Expo, a showcase of 20 vendors with green products and services for a sustainable future.

Vendor Application
 
Many of the vending and exhibit spots are already reserved for our returning 2007 vendors.
 
There is some room for new vendors and exhibitors in all areas.
 
Clearwater’s music and environmental river festival, takes place on June 21st & 22nd, 2008 at Croton Point Park, a beautiful peninsula located on the banks of the Hudson River, 35 miles north of New York City.
 
Clearwater’s legendary Hudson River Festival attracts ten to twelve thousand people from the Tri-state area, the Hudson Valley, and New York City. Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc., a nationally recognized non-profit environmental education and advocacy organization produces the festival.

General Vendor / Exhibitor Information
  • Camping: Campsites are available on the grounds Friday - Sunday. Vendors may choose to camp with their booths on site.
  • Meals: Vendors are responsible for their own food. Food vendors sell a variety of ethnic foods, including breakfast, available on Saturday and Sunday. Campsites have available fire pits for cooking.
  • No pets allowed on site, except GUIDE DOGS.
  • Security: Clearwater provides 24 hour Peacekeeper throughout the weekend.
  • Important: The park closes the entrance gates at 11pm Friday. No one will be allowed access to the park between 11pm Friday and 6am Saturday.
  • Set up: Set up Friday June 20th, noon to dusk or Saturday morning between 6am and 9am. All vehicles must be off festival grounds by 9am.

Activist Exhibitors

The activist area provides an outreach and networking opportunities for community groups, and non-profit organizations.

New Applicants must return the application by April 15 (please do not send vending fee with application). If accepted full payment is due May 15.

Fees
$ 50 for informational 10´x10´ booth space (items for sale should not exceed $5).
$150 for 10´x10´ booth space for groups selling merchandise for $5 or more.
Additional Information
  • Activist exhibitors are responsible for their own displays, tent or canopy (highly recommended), tables and chairs needs. Electricity is not available. You are also responsible for your own food. Food vendors are on site.
  • Each group (booth) is allowed to staff their booth with 3 workers. Different chapters or branches of the same organization are asked to share one booth with a total of 3 volunteers allowed. Any additional support staff will need to purchase general admission tickets.
  • Exhibitor set-up can begin on Friday, June 20th at noon (Park closes entrance at 11pm) or early Saturday morning. All vehicles must be off the festival grounds by 9am, Saturday.
  • Booths must be staffed during all festival hours. Vendors must commit to both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Tent camping with showers are available.
  • Organizations selected do not necessarily reflect the views of Clearwater and we cannot guarantee counter viewpoint representation on all issues.

 
Green Living Expo

Companies, firms or organizations are offered an opportunity to showcase and to sell or sample green products or services under a large tent on the shores of the Hudson River.

Due to space limitation, the Clearwater Festival will give preference to vendors who participated in the last year’s festival. New Applications are accepted on a waiting list and must return their applications by April 15. Please do not send vending fee with application at this time. If accepted, full payment is due by May 15.

Fees
$500 for a 10´x10´ booth space with electric, one 6 foot table, two chairs, and three exhibitor passes and listing on the festival website and in the souvenir program book.

 
Craft Vendors

A juried craft show held within the Clearwater Festival will select fifty (50) crafts artists.

The Application deadline has been extended to February 15 or until each category is full. For more information and an application please contact Tinya Seeger at tinyaseeger@gmail.com

Additional Information
  • Crafts vendors will have the option of setting up under a large 50´x100´ tent or under their own smaller tents along the lower walkways, in the field, or near the river.
  • Craft items must be designed and individually created by the craftsperson, not made from kits. Handmade crafts kits for sale are acceptable.

$400 10´x10´ space in large crafts tent
$300 10´x10´ space, you provide cover

Food Court Vendors

The Festival Food Court will be located in newly expanded area with large shade trees and picnic tables. Due to space limitations the Festival will select eighteen (18) food vendors in the festival food court.

$1,575 10´x20´ corner tent space (add $125 tent surcharge to fees)
$1,050 10´x15´ in food court (provide own tent) only 4 spaces available
$   800 10´x15´ field locations - only 5 spaces available
Additional Information
  • The Festival provides; large 20x40 tent (four vendors per tent), water, electric power, ice (sold at cost), and front counter tables.
  • Street food trailers or free standing tent units are not accepted in the food court without permission.
  • The Festival Food Court must meet our environmental standards therefore Styrofoam cups or plates are not accepted at festival. Use of biodegradable serving cups and plates only.
  • Spaces pre-assigned based on date CW receives application, so return your application ASAP.
  • External satellite sales locations are available for additional fee. If interested please contact CW.

 
Marketplace Vendors

The marketplace vending area is limited to non-mass produced items. Do to space limitations the Clearwater Festival will select twenty (20) vendors, which meet our environmental standards.
