Well ... guess what ... two Clearwater members, Kerry Grefig and Becky Rowland, rode their bikes across the country to raise money for Clearwater this past summer. They began on June 21 at the dock of the Adventuress, our sister program in Anacortes, WA, and finished in Kingston, NY in early September. Kerry and Becky rode over 8000 combined miles, inspiring people they met along the way and raising more than $3200.00 through pledges made by supportive Clearwater members and friends throughout their ride. Even though their adventure is over, you can still honor the effort with a contribution to Clearwater. We´ll put the money to good use as part of our Urban Outreach work-learning program. This special onboard internship offers inner city youth from lower income communities a non-traditional work experience in the maritime field, focusing on leadership, teamwork, teaching and communications skills. 1 cent per mile = $40 bucks P L E D G E   N O W . . . and help some young person discover a pretty phenomenal adventure of their own!
