Revamp the Camp!
We're excited to announce that work has begun on the green renovation of our new home at the White House in Beacon, NY. When all the work is completed, this beautiful 84-acre former camp property will house the new Clearwater Center for Environmental Leadership and Justice.
We're calling this renovation project "Revamp the Camp." Retrofitting the building to turn it into a modern office capable of supporting Clearwater's vibrant programs will be a lot of work, and a lot of fun, but we need your help to make it happen. A number of volunteer activities have been scheduled over the next few weekends: from a baseline cleaning and work area set-up to light carpentry, patching and painting, we'll need all of the creative energy and willingness to work that are the life blood of Clearwater to make this project a reality!
We're scheduling the work to take place over the next three weekends (Saturday 8/15 and Sunday 8/16; 8/22 & 8/23; and 8/29 & 8/30), from 9AM to 6PM.
