Camp Clearwater
Summer 2009
Creating the Next Generation of Environmental Leaders
Clearwater is piloting an adventure-based Leadership Program at its Beacon, NY site during the summer. The program focuses on Character Development, Environmental Stewardship and Community Responsibility. While experiencing the program, students will engage in an unforgettable journey that explores their inner abilities through many physical and emotional challenges. They will learn positive team dynamics and develop a respect for the natural environment.
All activities take place within the Hudson River Valley and are facilitated by highly-trained, nurturing and experienced instructors. All program elements start at beginner level and increase with gained experience. At the end of the program students will come away with a greater sense of self-esteem and the importance of community building. They will see that they are stronger than they ever thought and understand they have the ability to change the world.
For ages 13-15, Co-ed
Meals, transportation and all specialized equipment will be provided during the program.
