The Clearwater festival has won numerous awards for accessibility. 20 wheelchairs will be available, and many volunteers to assist the mobility impaired.

Clearwater Festival 2010 - The Great Hudson River Revival takes place at Croton Point Park, located on the east bank of the Hudson River off Route 9 in Croton-on Hudson, Westchester County, New York.

Sail on Clearwater Conveniently Located
The Clearwater Festival at Croton Point Park is located half way between NYC and Poughkeepsie, less than an hour train ride from New York City’s Grand Central Terminal or less than an hour train ride from Poughkeepsie’s Metro North train station. By car, the drive is about an hour north from New York City or about an hour south from Poughkeepsie. Croton Point Park is located one mile from the Croton-Harmon train station.
 
Camping AUDIENCE FESTIVAL CAMPING
Saturday and Sunday Nights Only
Festival Camping is $125 + fees and includes a weekend pass.
  • Check-in time is between 8am and Noon on Saturday morning. The check-in location is at the intersection where the park entrance booth resides. Look for a blue pop-up tent with check-in staff. Please bring your hard ticket, confirmation or print-at-home ticket to the Audience Camping Check-in to exchange for wristbands and parking pass. After checking in you will be able to drive directly to your campsite to unload your camping supplies, then park your car in designated parking area.
  • Make sure to arrive in time to check in. If by chance your arrival is delayed unexpectedly this will complicate your check in. Any late arrivals should go to the Reception booth at the traffic circle outside the main parking lot.
  • Campers must be out of camping area by 10am on Monday June 21.
  • The camping area is in an elevated area within the Park grounds.
  • The camping area is approximately a 10 minute walk from the main festival gate.
  • Festival ticket policy is Children Ages 12 and under free with adult on the festival grounds and in the AUDIENCE CAMPING area. If you are a camper with a pop-up trailer this requires purchasing an RV Pass. Please see below for details about RV Parking reservations.
  • AUDIENCE CAMPING is a TENT camping area only.
  • There is a bathroom house with running water at the location, but no showers in AUDIENCE CAMPING.
  • Cooking is permitted in this area.
  • No open fires in the AUDIENCE CAMPING area. Camping stoves are permitted.
  • No pets on the festival grounds or in the audience camping area (except for working guide dogs). Only working service dogs are allowed on festival grounds.
  • RV Parking is available. To reserve parking for a recreational vehicle, first order your weekend tickets, then call the Clearwater office 845-265-8080 ext. 7158 to make your reservation for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. RV parking is $50 per night, with hookups. You will also need weekend tickets.

Ride the Rails BY TRAIN

Ride the rails along the Hudson River to the Clearwater Festival. Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson Line offers scenic views of famed river sites, including the Palisades, West Point, Storm King, Highlands, Bear Mountain and
Bannerman’s Castle.

From Grand Central Station (NYC) and points south: Take METRO NORTH’s Hudson Line to the Croton-Harmon Station.

From Poughkeepsie and points north: Take MTA Railroad, Hudson Line, to the Croton Harmon Station.
Free shuttle service (5 to 7 minute trip) runs both days of the event from the Croton-Harmon Station to the Clearwater Festival at Croton Point Park.

Wheelchair Accessible Sign Language Interpreters Accessible
Free WHEELCHAIR VAN shuttle service from train station to festival runs all weekend of the event. Festival is accessible to those with disabilities. Large print, Braille programs and wheelchairs are provided. ASL interpreters for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals are provided on main stages. Handicap permit parking is limited in the park with a day charge of $10, collected by the Westchester County Park Department.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR
$5 parking and FREE shuttle service to the Clearwater Festival at the Croton-Harmon train station available all weekend of the festival. The shuttle service to the festival in the park from the station is a 5 to 7 minute trip. Parking in the park is limited and there is a day charge of $10. Think about Car-Pooling!

Travel Map From upstate New York
NYS Thruway (I-87) south to exit 16. Drive east on Route 6 through Harriman State Park to Bear Mountain Bridge. Turn right to Peekskill south on Route 9 to Croton Point Ave. Follow signs to the festival.
      OR
South on the Taconic State Parkway to Exit W18 (Underhill Ave.), Route 129 west to Croton-on Hudson. South on Route 9 to Croton Point Ave. Follow signs to the festival.

From New England
Merritt Parkway or New England Thruway (I-95) south to Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287), west to NYS Thruway to Exit 9 (Tarrytown). Proceed north on Rte. 9 for about 10 miles to exit for Croton Point Ave. Follow signs to the festival.

From Long Island
Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Parkway to Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287). West to NYS Thruway to Exit 9 (Tarrytown). Proceed north on Rte. 9 for about 10 miles to exit for Croton Point Ave. Follow signs to the festival.
Alternative Route - from Cross Westchester Express (I-287) take Sawmill Parkway north to Rte. 9A then north to Rte 9 north to Croton. Follow Signs to the festival.

From New Jersey and South
George Washington Bridge to Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) to Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) west to NYS Thruway to Exit 9 (Tarrytown). Proceed north on Rte. 9 for about 10 miles to exit for Croton Point Ave. Follow signs to the festival.

  • No bicycles or scooters or personal motorized vehicles will be permitted into the festival grounds. (This includes, but is not limited to: golf carts, ATV’s motor scooters, and powered skateboards.) A Bike Valet will be provided.
  • Styrofoam coolers
  • Avoid bringing unnecessary items that become pesky waste (sequins, silly string, confetti, balloons, packing peanuts, etc.).
  • No Professional Photography Equipment (Small hand held cameras without additional lenses are fine.)
  • No Pets! Service animals, trained to assist an individual with a disability, are allowed.
